HOW FOUNDER BATTLE WORKS

Climb by winning.
Never by paying.

Every approved product joins one global ladder. Challenge a product above you, let the arena vote, and win to move up.

The simple version

Four clear steps. No hidden shortcuts and no paid advantage.

STEP 01

Join the ladder

Submit your product for free. Once approved, it joins the bottom of the global ladder.

STEP 02

Help judge

Judge one eligible battle before your first challenge, then up to three before each later challenge.

STEP 03

Pick a rival

Challenge an available product up to five places above you. The Arena then votes.

STEP 04

Win and move up

If the challenger wins, it takes the rival's place. If it loses or the vote is tied, nobody moves.

A QUICK EXAMPLE

What happens when you win?

You are #8 and challenge the product at #4. If you win, you become #4. The products that were #4 to #7 each move down one place.

KEEPING BATTLES FAIR

Which votes decide the winner?

People can support a product from anywhere, but only neutral votes found inside Founder Battle decide the official result.

Counts towards the result

Arena Votes

These come from people who find a battle inside Founder Battle, including a neutrally featured battle. Arena Votes decide the winner and whether the battle has enough votes.

Shown separately

Support Votes

These come through a founder's shared link. They show community support, but they cannot decide the winner, meet the minimum, break a tie or change rank.

BATTLE RULES

How a battle ends

  • Every battle stays open for at least one hourThe first hour gives people time to vote. A battle never ends before it is over.
  • 7 Arena Votes can produce an early resultAfter the first hour, a clear leader wins as soon as the battle has at least 7 Arena Votes.
  • Extra time runs up to 8 hours in totalIf there are fewer than 7 Arena Votes, or the score is tied, voting stays open. There is only one extra-time period.
  • At least 5 Arena Votes are needed at the final deadlineWith 5 or more, the score decides the result. With fewer than 5, it ends as No Contest and nobody moves.
  • A tie protects the defenderThe challenger must receive more Arena Votes to take the higher place.

CHALLENGE RULES

When you can challenge

  • Judge before every challengeJudge one eligible battle before your first challenge. Before each later challenge, judge up to three.
  • One battle at a timeA product cannot join another battle while it is already fighting.
  • The requirement matches what is availableIf fewer eligible battles need votes, judge those. If none are available, your challenge unlocks automatically.
  • Only independent Arena Votes countYou cannot judge your own battle, and Community Support from shared links does not unlock a challenge.
  • The same pair waits 24 hours after the resultThat rematch restriction applies only to those two products. You can challenge other eligible products during that time.

Money never buys a win

Challenges are free

Payment cannot bypass judging, add votes or improve a product's rank.

A Battle Boost promotes both products

Both products receive equal featured placement for 24 hours. Voting stays open for that window unless the purchasing founder ends it after six hours from the battle start. The result stays featured for the rest of the day; vote weight and rank rules stay the same.

One ladder, many ways to browse

Categories and tags help people find similar products. They do not create separate rankings and never limit who you can challenge.

Fair play matters

One person gets one vote per battle. Bots, bought votes and coordinated manipulation are not allowed. We may remove invalid votes, cancel a battle or remove a product when the rules are abused.
